Just got hot and sour soup and a couple of egg rolls...fat with cabbage. Got the typical '10 minutes please' though I suspect everything had to be cooked from scratch with no previous prep.Food was good. Oddly no printed menu to keep in the office.Lady at counter was nice.

I told my friends about this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a delightful evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Tried to make a delivery order on the phone and the lady was super rude and unpleasant overall. Couldn't ask questions about the menu without the server being very short and impatient. Terrible customer service .

On average it is very standard food. But the person at the counter was very nice and polite. Egg rolls are very good.

Shrimp Egg Foo Young was delicious!

Good price, but some of the food is mediocre. They have a habit of telling you the food will be ready in 20 minutes, but it's more like 40 minutes or an hour until it's ready. My wife gets really bothered by the styrofoam containers they use, which the county outlawed recently. Not sure how they get around it.

Not bad, a little salty and greasy for my taste, but not the worst I had, I would give it a shot if in the mood and in the area.

They have poor customer service. False advertisement. One price on the menu and another price when you place the order. Please do not order from this place. But, if you do, make sure you compare what price they have online vs what they say!

Small carryout, big spicy taste.

Right around the block from my place so my family orders takeout whenever there's no food in the fridge :) works for us as a go to neighborhood spot. Not fancy but doesn't disappoint. Great for what it is.

Shang Hai has become my go-to Chinese restaurant. They are quick to accommodate my extra spicy requests and always produce delicious food in a timely manner. Plus it seems to be family owned and the woman always strikes up conversation making the restaurant very welcoming. I no longer go anywhere else for takeout Chinese food.

Excellent food

Service quality has gone down in recent months. Every neighborhood needs an inexpensive, quick Chinese food restaurant. Shang Hai used to be that place. My last three carry out visits, they too twice as long to prepare the food than what they told me on the phone. This last visit they did not want to take credit cards! Time to try another restaurant option.

Tasty, but they use too much fillers. I want chicken or seafood dish. If I wanted All veggies I would order that!

Mother’s Day meal was delicious! Both quality and portions were amazing. Fish filet — Imperial Fish — was a winner! Along with different tofu options. Six entrees and would order them all again!! Thanks forMaking Mother’s Day a breeze!
